The Estate Range
These are our foundation wines and our premium range; French varieties which highlight the Mornington Peninsula’s claim as a leading chardonnay and pinot noir growing region. These wines use fruit grown at our home vineyard for Cri de Coeur, Kangerong and The Zumma, as well as grapes sourced from selected regional growers for the Peninsula range.
Cri de Coeur (translating to ‘Cry of the Heart’) is made from the finest parcels of fruit from the home vineyard in any given vintage and has an increased reliance on whole bunch fermentation to build structure.
The Zumma is a traditional blend from the oldest plantings of our vineyard. It has strong sentimental ties to the family, Zumma being Zoe’s nickname as child.
Our Kangerong wines are a representative blend of fruit from across the 11 acres of the home vineyard (7 clones of Pinot and 3 blocks of Chardonnay).
Our Peninsula wines are made up of fruit provided by Mornington Peninsula vignerons selected by the Crittenden family.
Although subtly different in style, each wine benefits from the region’s cool maritime climate and our family’s commitment to sustainable farming practice.
