“Beautiful spot for wine tasting - and lovely wines. We had an excellent time with Ben who taught us a lot about their wines and made the experience fun. Great value getting the premium wine tasting selection.”

We’re delighted to share that two of our Chardonnays have been recognised in the Young Gun of Wine’s latest deep dive into the Mornington Peninsula’s Best Chardonnay.
Our 2023 Zumma Chardonnay and 2022 Cri de Coeur Chardonnay were both included, a reflection of over four decades of family winemaking and our commitment to regenerative practices that nurture the land for future generations.
This recognition highlights the depth and diversity of Chardonnay across the Mornington Peninsula, while also celebrating our history and the exciting vintages still to come. Congrats to our fellow winemakers who were also featured in the deep dive.
We’re delighted to be featured in Julie Sheppard’s Decanter article, “Ocean drive: the cool climate wines of Mornington Peninsula”. 🍇
Our 2022 Cri de Coeur Pinot Noir and 2023 Peninsula Chardonnay are among the wines highlighted, with Rollo reflecting on the early pioneers who shaped the region’s story:
“If you look at current plantings that still exist, you’d look at the Myer family with Elgee Park. In the late 70s at Main Ridge Estate, Nat White was probably one of the first small commercial producers who had Pinot Noir.”
You can read the full article now on the Decanter website (available to subscribers).
Amongst this year’s highlights, our 2020 Cri de Coeur Savagnin continues to shine with an impressive 96 points. “If there’s a wine/style I look forward to every year, it’s this one.” Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion (these wines will be available later in the year).
Our Macvin #6 and 2023 Cri de Coeur Chardonnay were also standouts, each earning 94 points, showcasing the breadth and quality across our portfolio. (also available later in 2025)

Judged in the Single White Varietal class in the show’s 50th year, our Savagnin was recognised among the country’s finest. With entry limited to wines that have already won gold or silver at qualifying shows, and all judging conducted blind, the National Wine Show remains Australia’s most prestigious and exacting wine competition.
With four trophies and five gold medals now under its belt, our Savagnin Sous Voile continues to shine.
“This gold medal is a testament not only to our dedication to the craft of sous voile winemaking, but also to our commitment to sustainable viticulture. In a field of the country’s finest, we’re incredibly proud to see this wine recognised at this level.” Rollo Crittenden
With sustainability at the core of our vineyard practices and a passion for pushing stylistic boundaries, it’s with humility that we continue to redefine the possibilities of Australian winemaking.

Wonderful news! We've made The Real Review's Top Wineries of Australia for 2025!
We’re absolutely thrilled to be named one of @therealrvw’s Top Wineries of Australia for 2025, achieving our personal best ranking of #61! Out of 414 wineries that made this prestigious list—narrowed down from thousands—this recognition honours producers who consistently craft outstanding wines and set the benchmark for quality nationwide.
Rankings are determined by an algorithm based on scores from over 10,000 wines submitted to The Real Review, making a place at #61 a truly exceptional achievement.
A huge thank you to @therealrvw for the honour, and congratulations to all our fellow wineries who made the cut—especially the five other Mornington Peninsula wineries in the top 100. What a region to be part of!
