Tasting Notes
Fragrant and expressive, our hand harvested Peninsula Pinot Noir shows lifted red berry aromas with hints of violet and rose petal. The palate balances juicy red cherry and raspberry with gentle spice, framed by supple tannins and a fresh, elegant finish.
Best Paired With
Roast beetroot and goats cheese salad, grilled quail, Peking duck pancakes.
Media Reviews
Light and bright ruby colour. Raspberry, rhubarb and roses on the nose. Sweet red fruits on entry, vibrant acidity keeps it juicy and fresh with a hint of rhubarb adding depth. Good length and tannins work their way into the finish nicely.
Stuart Knox, The Real Review
A decent go-to pinot offering easy-drinking appeal. Yet this has a certain level of detail, too. It's tangy, juicy and raspberry-accented, with rhubarb and some red/morello cherries and a strong sappy/wintergreen character. The palate is light and bright, with sinewy tannins yet crisp acidity to close.
