OUR WINES
Our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Savagnin shine in the Zumma, Cri de Coeur, and Kangerong wines. Explore the Mornington Peninsula with our Peninsula range, or taste Victoria’s best in Pinocchio, Geppetto and Los Hermanos. Across all, you'll find new favourites and old friends.
Cri de Coeur
The Cri de Coeur (Cry of the Heart) label was established in 2012. It is made in tiny quantities and perfectly showcases the pinnacle of our Viticultural and Winemaking efforts spanning over 40 years and 2 generations.
Zumma
The name “Zumma” stems from a baby nickname for Garry and Margaret’s daughter Zoe (or Zoe Zoe Zum Zum to family and friends!). With such long held sentimentality it was the obvious name choice for the limited bottling of the wine produced from some of the Crittenden family’s oldest and most cherished vines.
Kangerong
The origin of the name Kangerong can be traced back to the mid 1800s when a a local cattle run and homestead adopted the named ‘Kangerong’ as bestowed by the local Aboriginals, the Bunurong People.
The surrounding area, now known as the Kangerong basin, is home to our 27 acre family farm; an area which we feel is ideally suited to the Peninsula’s more recent agricultural pursuit of wine grape growing - in particular the regional heroes of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Peninsula
True to its name, the Peninsula range of wines represents the Crittenden family’s dedication to over 40 years of viticulture and winemaking in this cool maritime region.
Parcels of grapes have been selected from various vineyards across the Mornington Peninsula to produce vibrant and aromatic wines which truly reflect their ideal climatic origins.
Los Hermanos
The fruit for our classic Spanish styles is sourced from premium Victorian cool climate regions.
Los Hermanos means ‘the siblings’ and what more appropriate way to celebrate Rollo and Zoe’s influence in the family business. We realise it’s a bit indulgent, but we have always loved Spain, especially its food and wine.
Pinocchio
Named after the classic Italian tale, our Pinocchio range reflects a deep passion for Italian varieties.
Inspired by travels and research in northern Italy, the wines were rebranded in 2023 with new artwork that connects back to the original story.
Geppetto
This range of classic French varieties is unashamedly designed for youthful drinking and is part of the family’s quest to produce premium but affordable wines from grapes grown in several cool climate regions of Victoria.
Garry's Projects
Although in semi-retirement, Garry Crittenden continues to make wines he loves to drink. Fortunately for us, he makes more than he can drink each year!
